New Delhi: Rakhi Sawant has emerged through a traumatic period in her own life. The news of Rakhi Sawant and Adil Durrani's wedding has been all over the media ever since the couple went public with their announcement. They were only married for a short period of time before their relationship began to go downhill. She accused Adil of defrauding her money and assaulting her. Also, she said that he had cheated on her. In February, Adil was taken into custody.

Recently, Rakhi, who has been quite outspoken about her marriage to Adil, said that she would never forgive her estranged partner. However, she hopes that her husband, Adil Khan Durrani, would be granted bail by the Mysore court.

Rakhi talked to the media en route to Dubai, where she expressed her support for Adil's release on bail. She said, “Aaj subah mai namaz padhi aur mere dil me khayal aya ki ramzan ka matlab hota hai logon ko maaf karna. Adil ko mai maaf to nahi kar sakti dil se but ye dua karti hun Mysore court me bail jaaye (I was offering my prayer this morning and had a thought. Ramzan is the month of forgiveness. I may not be able to forgive Adil, but I pray that he gets bail in the court).”

She added,  “I was a good wife to him but he ruined my life. I shouldn't have loved him so much. I want him to get out on bail. However, the allegations are very serious. I want to send a message to him through the media, 'Adil, if you get bail, then don't ruin someone else's life. Try changing yourself and if you get married now then please don't mistreat that person as you did to me.' I will never get back to him. I want to lead my life alone henceforth. I am praying for him and his well-being.”

For the unversed, Rakhi and Adil got married in 2022 and they kept the marriage a secret at Adil’s request. The businessman first refuted the rumours when Rakhi announced their marriage earlier this year, but later accepted it.

On February 7, Adil was put in judicial custody. A complaint was reportedly filed against him, and he was brought before the Dondoshi sessions court, where his remand was denied by the Mumbai Police.

Rakhi had also accused Adil of her mother's death and said she would have been alive today had she been given medical treatment on time.
