New Delhi: Rakhi Sawant recently updated her fans about a sad development from her life. The actor who was part of Marathi 'Bigg Boss' Season 4 as a contestant informed her fans in a live chat that her mother was not well. Jaya Bheda had been diagnosed with a brain tumor. Rakhi shared that her mother had been admitted to Tata Memorial Cancer Hospital, Mumbai.
In the live chat, Rakhi shared, "I came out of the Bigg Boss house last night and I really need everyone's blessings. Mom is not well. She is in the hospital. Please pray for her."
"Nobody informed me in the Bigg Boss house that she is not well. I did not know she had been hospitalized. My mom has been diagnosed with a brain tumour," she added.
Rakhi informed that she had been told that it all began with paralysis of the left side. Now, several tests will be done after which the number of radiation Rakhi's mother will receive will be decided.
Soon after Rakhi shared the video, fans wished for Rakhi's mother to recover speedily. A user wrote, "Praying she will be fine soon. Don't worry, Rakhi." Another user wrote, "Stay strong Rakhi ji...our prayers are with you."
In April 2021, Rakhi had undergone a surgery for removing a tumour in her gallbladder which had turned cancerous. Her treatment was allegedly funded by Bollywood actor Salman Khan and his brother Sohail.
On Sunday( January 8), Rakhi left the 'Bigg Boss' Marathi Season 4 after taking a cash prize of Rs. 9 lakh during the show's grand finale.
‘Bigg Boss 4’ Marathi concluded on Sunday and Akshay Kelkar won the trophy and received Rs. 15,55,000, a gold bracelet and a cheque of Rs. 5 lakh among other prizes.
