New Delhi: Singer and rapper Raftaar and his wife and interior designer Komal Vohra have officially parted ways after 6 years of marriage. The couple tied the knot in 2016 and filed for a divorce in 2020, reports suggested. However, due to the pandemic, the process got delayed, reported Hindustan Times.


In the same HT report, a source close to the couple confirmed, "Everything was delayed due to the pandemic. They will sign the divorce papers on October 6.” 


The same report quoted its source, stating that problems began between the two "only a few days after their marriage”.


“Both have moved on in their respective lives and the couple, along with their families, remain cordial,” adding that only close ones knew about the status of Raftaar and Komal Vohra's marriage.


Raftaar is known for his 'Ghana Kasoota' track that gave him widespread recognition and fame.


No official confirmation has come from either Raftaar or Komal. 


Allegedly, Raftaar and Komal got married after 5 years of dating. It was 'love at first sight' when they met each other at a friend's place in 2011. At the time of the wedding, Raftaar had shared a picture from the ceremony and captioned it, "Married to my soulmate."


However, no such pictures can be found of the couple on their social media accounts. It has also been reported that they have unfollowed each other on social media.


Dilip Nair who goes by the name Raftaar is known for tracks like 'Toh Dishoom', 'Swag Mera Desi', and 'Dhaakad' from Aamir Khan's film 'Dangal'.


Komal Vohra, on the other hand, is an interior decorator.
