New Delhi: R Madhavan's 'Rocketry: The Nambi Effect' is receiving applause from all quarters. After receiving a standing ovation at the Cannes Film Festival in May, the film has received another round of applause from the Indian government officials who attended a special screening of the film at the Siri Fort Auditorium in New Delhi.


R Madhavan, who plays the titular role in the film has also made his directorial debut with the film. Superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Suriya are also part of the film though only in special appearances. Both have played themselves in the film.


'Rocketry: The Nambi Effect' has been adapted from the inspiring story of the life of Nambi Narayan, who contributed immensely to India's space programme. The movie also highlights India's human resource expertise and scientific excellence.


Nambi Narayan is based on the life of real-life scientist Nambi Narayan, a scientist and aerospace engineer of the ISRO ( Indian Space Research Organization) who was accused of espionage in 1994. 


Former IG CBI PM Nair and Apurva Chandra, Secretary, I&B were all praises for the film.


'Rocketry: The Nambi Effect' has been shot across the world in locations like India, Georgia, Russia, Serbia and France. It has also been shot in Tamil, English and Hindi simultaneously. It will also be dubbed in other regional languages like Kannada, Telugu and Malayalam.


The film has received positive response from all quarters who have seen it.


'Rocketry' is slated for a release on July 1, 2022.
