New Delhi: Punjabi Singer Jasmine Sandlas reported that she received death threats shortly after her arrival in Delhi for a performance at Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium. The officials who told this to PTI on Sunday, revealed that the anonymous caller referred to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi while making these menacing threats. Notably, the threats were made using international phone numbers. Upon learning of this situation, her team promptly contacted the police in Southwest Delhi and Sandlas has been provided with security at her hotel with an investigation which is underway.


Jasmine Sandlas' Music Career:


Talking about Jasmine Sandlas' singing career, the Punjabi singer recently did a playback in the Bollywood movie 'Dhak Dhak' which is slated to be released on October 13.


In addition to that, she boasts an impressive track record with numerous chart-topping hits. She also lent her singing talents to some other catchy Bollywood tunes, such as 'Yaar Naa Miley' in Salman Khan's 'Kick' and 'Illegal Weapon 2.0' in the film 'Street Dance 3D', which featured Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor.






Lawrence Bishnoi:


Currently, gangster Lawrence Bishnoi is behind the bars in Ahmedabad, on drug smuggling charges which are currently under investigation by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). Furthermore, Bishnoi is also an accused in a murder case of singer Sidhu Moosewala.


Apart from all this, Bishnoi recently grabbed headlines once more by claiming responsibility for the killing of Khalistani terrorist Sukhdool Singh in Canada. Sukhdool, also known as Sukha Duneke, was killed in Canada due to inter-gang violence.


In addition, Bishnoi has a history of issuing threats to Salman Khan. Earlier this year, he sent an email to the Bollywood actor, warning him about the repercussions if he failed to watch his interview on a news channel.
