New Delhi: Punjabi actor Aman Dhaliwal was critically injured in a knife attack recently in the USA. As per India Today, the assault happened while the actor was working out in a gym. The incident has also been captured on a CCTV camera. A clip has also been doing the rounds on the interent about the same.
As per news agency IANS, the video clipping shows the accused asking for water from people around while Aman is at knife point. Moments later, the actor finds the right moment, turns around and pins the accused to the ground. Others come running and do not let him escape.
Later, the police were called and the accused was handed over to them. The incident took place in the morning at Planet Fitness gym located at 3685 Grand Oaks in the US.
Aman Dhaliwal has also worked in the Bollywood film 'Jodhaa Akbar' starring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai. Aman Dhaliwal primarily works in the Punjabi film industry where he most often does action hero roles. He hails from a small rural town Mansa in Punjab. Aman has worked in Bollywood, Pollywood Pakistani and Telugu movies including 'Big Brother', 'Jodhaa Akbar', 'Vorsa, 'Ik Kudi Punjab Di' and 'Ajj De Ranjhe'.
Aman Dhaliwal had the most interesting start of a career when he was discovered by a modeling agent in a hair saloon in Delhi. He began his modeling career with songs like 'Jaan Jaan by Balkar Sidhu and 'Jogiya' by Romey Gill.
