New Delhi: The AAP MP Raghav Chadha and actor Parineeti Chopra, who are reportedly getting engaged on May 13, were clicked at the Delhi airport on Tuesday. In the video, doing the rounds on social media, they are seen walking toward their car and not stopping to pose, despite paps asking them to do so.
Photographers asked Parineeti and Raghav, ‘Shaadi mein bula rahe ho kya?’ Both were seen laughing at the comment. Raghav smiled when the photographers said, ‘Bhai bhabhi, congratulations.’
The two were recently spotted watching an IPL match between Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians in Mohali.
They are reportedly getting engaged on May 13 and Parineeti’s arrival in Delhi has fuelled the speculations.
"It (the engagement) is happening. She is getting engaged on Saturday, 13th. The engagement preps are on,” IANS quoted its source as saying.
The two became the talk of the town when they were spotted twice in Mumbai in March. Since then, they have been spotted together many times.
Though the couple has stayed mum about their relationship status, Parineeti’s co-star Harrdy Sandhu had confirmed their relationship and claimed that he even congratulated her. Also, Rajya Sabha Member Sanjeev Arora congratulated the two on their ‘union’ on Twitter.
Parineeti recently spoke about the media attention on her personal life in an interview with Lifestyle Asia India. The actor said that she sees the attention as a part Of her success.
“If I were nobody or they were not interested in me, that would probably mean that I did not achieve what I tried to achieve as an actor because a successful actor will be famous, will be a part of everybody’s homes, a part of living room conversation, a part of the news, a part of the news channels, a part of digital media, a part of the paparazzi culture, and everything,” she told Lifestyle Asia India.
She also said a thin line exists between the media discussing her life and 'crossing the line by being too personal or disrespectful'.
“If that ever happens, I will just clarify in case somebody’s gotten anything wrong. So, I mean, if the world was not interested, I would have considered myself unsuccessful. If the world is interested, that means I’ve done something right in my career. So that’s how I see it,” she told Lifestyle Asia India.
On the work front, Parineeti Chopra was seen in two films in 2022 – 'Uunchai' and 'Code Name Tiranga'.
She has recently wrapped shooting for Imtiaz Ali’s 'Chamkila' with Diljit Dosanjh. The actress will also be seen in Jaswant Singh Gill’s biopic, which stars Akshay Kumar.
