New Delhi: In a recent turn of events, Indian-American Parag Agrawal has taken over Jack Dorsey as the CEO of Twitter. Dorsey revealed in a tweet that he is stepping down from his position of CEO from the micro-blogging platform.

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, whose Twitter account got suspended earlier this year, reacted to the news. She shared a screenshot of the update on her Instagram and wrote, “Bye Chacha Jack”.

Jack Dorsey wrote in a statement while sharing the tweet, “The board ran a rigorous process considering all options and unanimously appointed Parag. He's been my choice for some time given how deeply he understands the company and its needs. Parag has been behind every critical decision that helped turn this company around. He's curious, probing, rational, creative, demanding, self-aware, and humble. He leads with heart and soul, and is someone I learn from daily. My trust in him as our CEO is bone deep.”



Parag Agrawal also expressed his gratitude of taking over the position of CEO in a tweet and wrote, “Deep gratitude for @jack and our entire team, and so much excitement for the future. Here’s the note I sent to the company. Thank you all for your trust and support”.



Meanwhile, speaking about Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming movies, the actress will be next seen featuring in ‘Emergency’, ‘Manikarnika Returns: The Legend Of Didda’, ‘Tejas’, ‘Dhaakad’ and ‘Sita: The Incarnation’.
