Prime Video finally announced the premiere date of the upcoming suspense horror series 'Khauf'. Smita Singh's first foray into the roles of creator and showrunner is set to take viewers on a spine-tingling adventure. The series, helmed by Pankaj Kumar and Surya Balakrishnan, and produced by Sanjay Routray and Sarita Patil, offers an engrossing storyline brimming with psychological complexity. Terrifying horror and suspense await viewers in this eight-part series.

'Khauf' stars Monika Panwar, Rajat Kapoor, Abhishek Chauhan, Geetanjali Kulkarni and Shilpa Shukla.  Fans of the horror genre will not want to miss this series, which will be available in Hindi with English subtitles.

Prime Video announced the premiere date along with a striking poster and caption: "Some rooms hold memories. This one holds fear. #KhaufOnPrime, New Series, April 18."

'Khauf' Plot

'Khauf' chronicles the disturbing and unnerving experiences of Madhu, a young lady who seeks a new beginning by moving into a hostel in a different location. The hostel has a mysterious history that she is unaware of. In her fight for freedom from her haunting past, Madhu finds herself engaged in a supernatural conflict that extends beyond her apartment. The events that transpire next plunge Madhu and the audience into a horrific waking nightmare, making them wonder whether they are seeing reality or if their fears are driving them.

Speaking about the series, creator Smita Singh said, “Horror thrives on emotions and atmosphere, and with Khauf, we created a story that is both unsettling and deeply human."

She added, "I can’t wait for audiences in India and across 240 countries to experience this series when it premieres exclusively on April 18."
