In season 3 of Mirzapur, while many characters were missed by the audience, some characters ruled with their increased screen time and shift in story, leaving a lasting impact on audiences. One such character is Radhiya, played by Prashansa Sharma, who has captured the attention of viewers with her bold and unapologetic portrayal. In a recent interview with ABP Entertainment Live, Prashansa shared her thoughts on her character and the controversial figure of Babuji, revealing a fascinating insight into her perspective.

Prashansa on being disgusted by Babuji's character

On being asked why she felt disgusted on sets with Babuji's character played by Khulbhushan Kharbanda, Prashansa said, "He is such an inspiration, right? He is a legend and he plays it so well. He plays it so well that when I am in Radhiya's character, I would sometimes just feel disgusted around him because of the way he is. He gets so into his character and plays it with such honesty. It’s a very difficult character to play – to be that powerful person doing those things. And he just plays it so beautifully that even when I am playing Radhiya and I am around him, sometimes I feel scared or disgusted."

She added, "But he is the nicest person in the world, the warmest and most grounded. He shares such great anecdotes and stories from his time, about people we look up to. I've asked him many times what it was like to work with certain people, what their processes were. He is very giving as a co-actor and as a human being. I think if I feel disgusted, it’s about how well he plays it, how great an actor he is. He is so great as an actor that he can make me feel that way."

Prashansa on Divyenndu's character Munna Bhaiya

"I didn't feel the same about Munna Bhaiya's character, of course. Munna Bhaiya's character scared me a lot. Even in season three, sometimes I would walk into that room and feel a very eerie feeling. But Divyenndu is the nicest person. He's like one of the best co-actors and just great actors. As Radhiya, I would just feel so much fear around him."

I think everyone missed Munna Bhaiya in season three, but Radhiya did not. Of course, Radhiya wouldn't. What connection is there? Radhiya would be relieved. I was so relieved as Radhiya. Divyenndu was terribly missed on set, and even Kulbhushan ji. But Radhiya, I do not miss him at all. I was very happy about this because when he left the house, Beena gave me such independence and freedom that Radhiya could explore who she is and what she likes and what her aspirations and dreams are."
