After finding out that Hannah may be in danger, he and his friends unwittingly unlock sealed books that unleash monsters.

This Taiwanese horror comedy is a hilarious ride of adventure about three friends at a mysterious hotel, where they find themselves stuck. They Cloned Tyrone (2023)


 



A funny film and a unique setting with a misfit trio finding themselves trapped in a government conspiracy is a horror comedy to watch out for on Netflix. The Burbs ( 1989)


 



A classic horror comedy that never gets too old; this excellent cast film starring Tom Hanks, Carrie Fisher, Corey Feldman and Bruce Dern is about a suburban man who comes home for a week-long vacation. Strange things happen next door to him until he begins to wonder if his neighbours are ritualistic murderers. A simple yet extremely fulfilling horror-comedy experience, this is a must-watch


Little Evil ( 2017)


 



This horror-comedy directed by Eli Craig features Adam Scott as a man who is torn between his love for a woman and fear of her six-year old son, Lucas. When strange things happen at their home, a priests confirms that Lucas is the Antichrist. With the help of his misfit friends, Gary must stop Lucas from taking over the world. 


Despite belonging to a familiar storyline, this well-crafted film and a cast with excellent comic timing makes 'Little Evil' a great horror-comedy film.
