New Delhi: 'Khufiya' trailer is finally out. The Tabu, Ali Fazal, Wamiqa Gabbi starrer thriller looks intense and well-shot. The Vishal Bhardwaj film is a neo-noir spy thriller film based on Amar Bhushan's espionage novel 'Escape to Nowhere'. Netflix shared the trailer on their official social media handle and wrote, "Yahan hathiyaar ke roop hain alag, aur jung hai Khufiya. In a world of spies, the traitor must be brought to light. #Khufiya, streaming from Oct 5, only on Netflix!"

The film is adapted from true events based on the book by former Chief of the Counter Espionage Unit of R&AW, Amar Bhushan.

'Khufiya' looks intriguing, intense and a thriller that is fast paced. All this is complimented by a stellar cast headlined by the likes of Tabu and Ali Fazal. While Tabu seems to be playing a R&AW chief, Ali Fazal plays a photocopier in the department who seems to be passing on top-secret documents somewhere.

In between comes Wamiqa Gabbi, who plays the role of his wife. From the 'Khufiya' trailer, it is not clear if Ali Fazal is a patriot or traitor for leaking when it comes to national secrets.

The official synopsis of 'Khufiya' reads, "Yahan hathiyaar ke roop hain alag, aur jung hai khufiya, in the world of spies, the traitor must be brought to light. #Khufiya, streaming from 5 October, only on Netflix!"
