New Delhi: Today, Shah Rukh Khan celebrates his 58th birthday. On this auspicious day, the superstar treated his fans to an incredible gift by releasing his latest blockbuster, Jawan, which co-stars Nayanthara, on OTT. The action thriller that blew up the box office can now be streamed digitally, and here's the added cherry on top: it includes the extended version of the movie. An additional bonus for the OTT release is a humorous trailer starring King Khan.

Jawan OTT Release

The digital release was humorously announced via Jawan's OTT platform on Thursday, November 2. Shah Rukh Khan celebrated his 58th birthday at exactly midnight with the release of a promotional video that starred him and his group of girlfriends.

In the trailer, Shah Rukh mockingly threatens to disrupt the film's initial weekend release plans by releasing it on over-the-top (OTT) platforms in the next two minutes. When requested with a heartfelt plea, "Please meri 'Mannat' hai aapse” (It’s my request to you), he quips with humor, "Aye, Mannat toh meri hai" (Mannat is mine). Ultimately, they agreed to release the film immediately.

With a dash of his trademark charisma, SRK delivers a well-known line from the film in a fresh way. Rather than a huge party, a Happy Birthday banner appears, and he shares, "Mere janamdin par aap sabke liye tofa" (A gift to you on my birthday), while cutting a cake.

About Jawan

The movie has been a huge commercial success and is Shah Rukh Khan and director Atlee's first joint venture. The way that SRK portrayed a dual part won over a lot of love, and many loved his on-screen chemistry with Nayanthara, the leading lady. Prominent actors like Sunil Grover, Girija Oak, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Ridhi Dogra, and Vijay Sethupathi are among the ensemble cast members. Notably, cameos by Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt have a significant influence.

Fans may now enjoy an extended version of Jawan available in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi for watching on Netflix.
