Both Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, A-list stars in Hollywood, made severe accusations against one another during the trial, which focused on their chaotic relationship. 

Amber Heard's ex-husband Johnny Depp was charged of defamation.This took place after Heard wrote an opinion piece for a major publication in which she identified herself as a victim of domestic abuse without explicitly mentioning Depp. Later, following the court's announcement of the verdict, it was made public that this trial would be turned into a Netflix docuseries.
