Kartik Aaryan's sports drama 'Chandu Champion' is all set for its OTT release amid the ongoing Paris Olympics 2024. Directed by Kabir Khan, the film garnered positive response from the audience with Kartik Aaryan being hailed for his performance, however, it failed to create its magic at the box-office and coulnd't reach the 100 crore club.

'Chandu Champion' tells the inspiring story of Murlikant Petkar, a man who defied all odds to achieve victory.


The narrative follows the extraordinary life of Murlikant Petkar (played by Kartik Aaryan), a hero whose story deserves to be known by the nation. Despite being confined to a wheelchair and unable to walk, Murlikant defied the odds to win a gold medal at the Olympics for India. From his childhood, he had one dream: to bring home a gold medal for his country. Ridiculed for his aspirations, he remained steadfast, pursuing wrestling and later enlisting in the army. Despite facing life-threatening injuries that left him paralysed, he persevered, eventually winning a gold medal in swimming at the Paralympics.

After its successful run in theaters, the film is now set to premiere on OTT, making it a timely and inspiring watch as the world is currently immersed in the Paris Olympics.


Fans of Kartik who missed the film in theaters will now have the chance to watch it on the streaming platform Amazon Prime Video from August 7.
