Bigg Boss OTT Season 3 has recently found itself embroiled in controversy after a video went viral that purportedly shows Armaan Malik and his second wife Kritika in an intimate moment. However, JioCinema has clarified that the video has been manipulated.

JioCinema Says Armaan Malik-Kritika Malik Video Doctored

In an official statement, JioCinema emphasised its commitment to maintaining high programming standards. "JioCinema adheres to strict programming standards and guidelines to ensure the quality and appropriateness of any content that streams on our platform. Bigg Boss OTT, which was streamed on JioCinema, did not contain any such content. The video clip in circulation has been doctored to include obscenity and is fake. We are committed to protecting the integrity of JioCinema and the trust our viewers place in us. The creation and circulation of this fake clip is a matter of very serious concern,” the statement read.

The statement further elaborated on the steps being taken to address the issue: "Our teams are working towards identifying the origins of this clip and will initiate action against those responsible for creating and distributing such defamatory content against Bigg Boss OTT and JioCinema," the statement concluded.

Shiv Sena Secretary condemns Bigg Boss OTT 3

On July 22, Shiv Sena Secretary and Spokesperson, MLA Dr. Manisha Kayande, approached Mumbai Police Commissioner Vivek Phansalkar, demanding immediate action against Bigg Boss OTT. In an interaction with ANI, she said, “Bigg Boss 3 is a reality show that has showcased absolute vulgarity. The YouTube influencer Armaan is also involved and has now crossed all limits of decency with the scenes being shown. We have requested the Mumbai police to take action and have submitted a formal letter. This public display of vulgarity in the name of reality shows is unacceptable and has a negative influence on young minds. We will also approach the Minister of Information and Broadcasting to advocate for new regulations on OTT platforms in the current session of parliament. We have urged the authorities to arrest the actors involved and the CEO of the show."

Payal Malik on the viral video

Earlier, Armaan’s first wife Payal Malik also reacted to the video and called it edited. She said, "Whoever has shared the video claiming it is Armaan and Kritika’s I would request them with folded hands to stop. The video is edited. I have stayed at Bigg Boss house and I can say that there are no lamps like the ones seen in the viral clip. The blanket is also different. Those who have stayed inside the house will quickly understand that the clip is fake."
