New Delhi: Salman Khan announced Akanksha Puri's exit from the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house on Sunday. She was eliminated following a live-camera, passionate kiss she shared with Jad Hadid during a "task." This week, Abhishek Malhan, Jiya Shankar, and Akanksha Puri were the contestants who had been nominated for eviction.
Jad Hadid, on the other hand, will be nominated the following week after being penalised by host Salman Khan for his previous actions. The BBVerse was visited by Akanksha, Jiya, and Abhishek, and they were given a duty. They had to vote on who among them should leave the show. The more time they took, the more the other residents of the house would suffer. Abhishek and Akanksha nominated Jiya while she nominated Akanksha. They argued for a while before Salman made the eviction of Akanksha official.
Next week will most likely see Jad's eviction from the house. After Salman Khan responded angrily to two instances involving Jad in the house, he went to nominations. He gave Akanksha Puri a 30-second kiss. After that, he got into a heated disagreement with Bebika Dhurve and exposed his butt. She urged him to come out as himself to the world. Jad exhibited his butt for her to 'speak to it'. The creators of the show censored the clip.
Salman Khan reprimanded Jad for his inappropriate behaviour and said, "Try this in Abu Dhabi, try this in the GCC belt, try this in Saudi Arabia." Jad apologised, "Sir it was a mistake. I admit it." Salman continued, "When did you say it was a mistake? Right now?" Jad added, "No no no. I said it straight away but she (Bebika) wasn't in a mood that I could approach her."
The Bigg Boss host also told Jad, "A lot of people may not find anything wrong with what you did. But a lot of people may find it offensive. It (India) is a very conservative country. ... It's also a very forgiving country. We all have been forgiven by the people of this country a million times. And you? They loved you. The way you were, even though they did not understand the language, they loved you, they loved Abdu (Rozik)... till these two incidences. Leave aside the kiss incident, this is the bummer.”
