New Delhi: What if you were sent abroad for studies, but ended up learning hairstyling? Watch what Bengali OTT film 'Lady Queen Gents Parlour' has to reveal. Directed by Sagnik Chatterjee, the film stars Madhurima Basak, Kharaj Mukherjee, Manasi Sinha, Joey Deb Roy and Rohaan Bhattacharya in lead roles. The music of the series is helmed by the young and talented musician Saptak Sanai Das. 


About 'Lady Queen Gents Parlour':


The story revolves around a girl, 'Nishigondha' played by Madhurima Basak who was sent abroad to study hospitality management but she ends up learning hairstyling. Her passion and dream is to open a boutique salon where she’ll only do haircut for men. This decision of hers is not well received by the society and people start behaving in an unpleasant way with her. She also faces a lot of conflit at her own home where they refer to her as 'Napith'. 


On the other hand we see another family where the father figure, 'Madhai Babu' (played by Kharaj Mukherjee) was a much celebrated hairstylist. He was known to have joyous times as a barber and also owned a salon of his own. Unforunately, he ended up shutting his salon because of his family’s pressure. 


A new journey begins when Nishigondha and Madhai Babu meet and decide to do everything for their passion- which is opening a salon. Their aim is to revive Madhai Babu's old salon which was shut down. 






This film is slated to release in September 15, on Bengali OTT platform Addatimes.
