New Delhi: 'Mirzapur' is all set for the release of its third season on July 5, 2024. The Amazon series will reprise the role of many actors including Ali Fazal, Rasika Duggal, Shweta Tripathi, Vijay Varma, Pankaj Tripathi and more. Whil fan theories are doing the rounds on social media about what is to come in the season, in a recent interview Ali Fazal confirmed Jitendra Kumar's character Sachiv ji's cameo from 'Panchayat' in 'Mirzapur 3'.

In an interview with ANI, he said, 'That’s cross-promotion. We have done that.” The news agency also mentioned that Jitendra Kumar will be seen in two episodes as Sachiv Ji, and will be seen doing some paperwork related to Kaleen Bhaiya's ( Pankaj Tripathi) death.


Speaking about the upcoming season of 'Mirzapur', ALi Fazal told the Free Press Journal, "Interestingly, we have introduced hand combat. We lose some important characters, but we gain some new ones. I underwent a different kind of preparation, which was fun."

Ali Fazal also added that Mirzapur had given him a 'career-defining' role which had helped him make a mark in the industry. Thanks to 'Mirzapur', Ali admitted that he received more offers related to work opportunities.


Recently, the trailer of 'Mirzapur' was unveiled, giving a glimpse of more drama and blood, gore and politics. The trailer gave a glimpse of Guddu Bhaiya's rising influence over Purvanchal, while Rasika Duggal's character switches sides to join him.


Meanwhile, 'Mirzapur' fans will miss Divyenndu, who plays Munna Bhaiya in the series. Despite his death in 'Mirzapur 2', fans hoped that makers might bring him back, given the connection audiences have with the character, however that has not been the case from the promotional material that has been released.
