New Delhi: Abhishek Malhan aka Fukra Insaan was one of the most voted contestants on 'Bigg Boss OTT 2' premiere. The YouTuber has a massive fan following across the country and his fans are super-excited to see him participate in the show. In an interaction, Fukra Insaan or Abhishek Malhan shared that the fact that so many people love him has made him quite relaxed about the 'new challenge'.
In an interview with Indian Express, Abhishek Malhan shared, "The audience gave me so much positivity. I didn’t sleep the night and was just reading all their comments. Even when my face wasn’t revealed, they knew it was me and created a wave on social media. My fans have asked me to go ahead and play the game, rest they will handle everything."
Abhishek also shared that joining 'Bigg Boss OTT 2' was never his plan as this meant he would have to be inactive on his YouTube channel for a long time. Thus, he decided to say no. "Bigg Boss OTT was for a few weeks and I thought I could shoot a bank and go, and do something new. But I wasn’t too keen but the makers told me it’s going to be bigger than ever, and as they named Salman Khan as the host, I just jumped and said yes,” he added.
However, Abhishek has full plans to stick to his platform and entertain his fans through that. The YouTuber admitted that the show would help him connect with a new kind of audience. "I know most people want to act but I cannot let go of my roots. On the other hand, I want to get more people to my content.”
When he was asked if he feels threatened by television stars as reality shows are known to be dominated by them, he quickly added, "Ab TV ka zamana gaya (The era of TV is gone). That’s all I can say.”
Abhishek also added that there is an interesting reason to stay and enterain his auidence as he has always entertained them as a vlogger. With the Bigg Boos house having cameras 24X7, fans get to their favourites in a better light. "But people here will see me in all my elements. They have never seen me fight but I have that side too. While I may not like negativity, if someone does something wrong to me, I wouldn’t hold myself back. My fans have always seen me happy, smiling, and doing fun stuff but through the show, they will know more about me.” He told Indian Express/
Abhishek Malhan is the first YouTuber to be a part of Bigg Boss and hopes to create history by winning the coveted title.
