Bengali actress turned politician Nusrat Jahan, who embraced motherhood recently has been the talk of the town ever since her baby’s birth. There were questions about the child's father making rounds on internet. But later all speculations about the child's paternity came to an end as the birth registration details of her baby boy was now out in public domain.
According to Kolkata Municipal Corporation document that went viral on social media, Nusrat's baby boy's birth certificate mentions the name of the baby as Yishaan J Dasgupta and that of the father as Debashish Dasgupta, which is the original name of Yash Dasgupta.
And now the actress’ latest post suggest that the couple might have tied the knot!
Nusrat took to her to Instagram handle to share pictures from her rumoured partner Yash Dasgupta's intimate birthday celebration with a huge cake. However, what caught everyone’s attention was the word 'husband' and 'dad' written on the cake.
On her Instagram stories, Nusrat Jahan posted a photo of the birthday cake which referred to Yash Dasgupta both as husband and dad. "Happy birthday," read the cake. This is the first time she referred to Yash Dasgupta as her "husband", so is she confirming that the couple is married? The cake also appeared to address speculation about the baby's father.
Nusrat welcomed a baby boy on August 26, but has managed to keep him away from the limelight. On August 30, 2021, Nusrat Jahan was seen leaving from the hospital with her new born. In the videos shared by one of actress' fanclubs online, the new mommy was seen leaving the hospital with her partner, Yash Dasgupta. Yash, on the other hand, was seen carrying their then-newborn in his arms. Nusrat could be seen folding her hands and acknowledging the media before getting inside the car.
Nusrat Jahan and her estranged husband Nikhil Jain separated in 2020. Earlier this year, Nusrat Jahan said in a statement that her marriage was not valid under Indian law. Nusrat Jahan and Nikhil Jain had two wedding ceremonies in Turkey's Bodrum in 2019.
