New Delhi: The case of Sushant Singh Rajput's death is currently being investigated by three central agencies, namely the CBI, ED and NCB. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) got into the scenario when the ‘drug angle’ emerged during the investigation and since then the organization has arrested Rhea Chakraborty, Showik Chakraborty, Bharti Singh, Haarsh Limbachiyaa and many others. Amongst the arrested was the ex-executive of Dharma Productions, Kshitij Prasad, who has been recently granted bail by a Special NDPS Court reportedly.

NCB Drug Investigation Case: Arjun Rampal Again Summoned By NCB For Questioning In Drugs Case

A report of ANI read, “Mumbai: Dharma Productions former executive producer Kshitij Ravi Prasad granted bail by Special NDPS court today in connection with a drug case.”



Kshitij was arrested by the agency after some amount of marijuana was seized from him. NCB also found a connection with several drug peddlers during their investigation. On September 25, the Narcotics Control Bureau searched the ex-Dharmatic Entertainment employee’s house and recovered a rolled joint believed to be the remnants of a smoked Ganja roll. They also seized certain documents and gadgets.

The Narcotics Control Bureau further revealed that Kshitij Prasad has been indirectly connected with Anuj Keshwani from whom the agency seized commercial quantities of narcotics reportedly.

On a related note, Arjun Rampal has again been summoned by the NCB for the second time after grilling him for 7 hours last month. His Australian friend Paul Bartel was arrested in a drug-related case investigation reportedly. As per reports, Bartel was in regular touch with Agisialos Demetriades, who is an alleged drug peddler and the brother of Gabriella Demetriades, the live-in partner of Rampal. He was arrested by NCB in October this year, as the agency expanded its grip on the drug nexus.
