Mumbai: Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has extended a helping hand to the needy, who have been battling the COVID-19 crisis. The ‘Dabangg’ star has been actively using social media platforms to provide assistance to the people. The ‘Simmba’ star, who emerged as a messiah for the migrant workers during the COVID-induced lockdown in 2020, is now busy serving the people, who have been affected by the pandemic.
Sonu met people, who had gathered outside his house on Wednesday (May 26) afternoon, to understand their problems and provide immediate help. A lady present at the spot tied a rakhi to the actor and thanked him for helping the people in need.
The women touched Sonu’s feet after tying the rakhi and said, “Aap Mere Bhai Jaise Ho (You’re like a brother to me).” While the ‘R Rajkummar’ actor accepted her rakhi, he asked her to not touch his feet.
A popular paparazzo shared the video on social media and captioned it as, “Moment of the day.”
Fans have flooded the comments section with their messages. They called Sonu the 'Real Hero' and lauded him for his honest efforts.
One user wrote, "Share as much as u can... he deserves all the love and respect.. inspiring so many out there to help.. share more of the celebrities who are helping in this tough time."
