But now the proud parents have finally named their lil princess and she will now be called as Misha. Yeah that's true, according to a report published in in Filmfare, the star couple has named their first baby as Misha.

The name is a combination of first two letters of Mira and first three letters of Shahid's names. Mi(ra) and Sha(hid).

We simply loved the name of the newborn! Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor had flown to Amritsar with wife Mira Rajput Kapoor and father Pankaj Kapoor to meet their spiritual guru & finalize his daughter's name.

The combination of initials of parents while naming their child is quite popular in Bollywood, last year when Rani Mukherjee and Aditya Chopra's daughter was born the duo named her AdiRa, a combination of their names.
