New Delhi: Dulquer Salmaan starrer Malayalam film 'Kurup' has hit theatres today. The film has been garnering all attention lately, for its storyline. The film helmed by director Srinath Rajendran, chronicles the life of 'Sukumara Kurup', one of India's most wanted fugitives who has been on the run since 1984.
Dulquer Salmaan, who portrays the character of Sukumara Kurup in the film, is on cloud nine. Can you guess why? The trailer of the film was screened at Burj Khalifa, ahead of its release.
An elated Dulquer shared the video on his Instagram. He wrote,"This is a huge moment for me, for the hundreds of people behind the film Kurup and for the amazing team behind Wayfarer Films and M Star Entertainment. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine a traileer of a film of mine, let alone my name, playing on the iconic Burj Khalifa. A huge thanks to the people who made it possible."
Thanking his fans who made the event all the more special for him with their presence, the 'Charlie' actor wrote,"And an equally big thank you to all of you that came to witness this first of its kind spectacle play on the Burj Khalifa. I wish to always return your love ten-fold through my films."

'Kurup' is one of the major films to hit the screens after theatres reopened in Kerala in October. It also stars the web-series 'Made In Heaven' fame Sobhita Dhulipala, Indrajith Sukumaran, Shine Tom Chacko, Sunny Wayne and Bharath Niwas.
