New Delhi: Kartik Aaryan was asked about Kangana Ranaut's tweet directed at him during an awards ceremony on Sunday. The actor was complimented by Kangana for forging his own way in Bollywood and not joining a "camp." Kartik has now responded to Kangana's comments that he is "cool" and "self-made." He declared himself to be "a fan of her work."

The actor was questioned about what she appreciated about Kartik earlier this month during a Twitter "Ask Kangana" session. "Kartik is self-made and follows his own path, he is not a part of any camp or group, he is cool," Kangana wrote in her tweet.

On the recent red carpet in Mumbai, Kartik Aaryan said,"I am thankful to her for appreciating me, and I have been a fan of her work. So it is a huge compliment when it comes from someone like her. So, thank you so much."

After Karan Johar's Dharma Studios stated that 'Dostana 2' would be recast in April 2021, Kangana took to Twitter to express her support for Kartik, who apparently had already started filming for a few scenes of the movie before leaving.

On the work front, Kangana Ranaut has finished filming 'Emergency', her upcoming movie. Not only is she the project's protagonist, but she is also the movie's director. In the movie, she will portray Indira Gandhi, the country's first female prime minister. The upcoming movie, which also features Anupam Kher, Satish Kaushik, and Milind Soman, is expected to be released this year.

Meanwhile, after receiving his 'first' best actor prize for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 at the Zee Cine Awards on Monday, Kartik shared a post on Instagram.

Kartik Aaryan, on the other hand, last appeared with Kriti Sanon in 'Shehzada'. The movie, which premiered on February 17, is directed by Rohit Dhawan and is a remake of Allu Arjun's 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo'.
