Aamir Khan is getting ready to essay the role of a music composer in his former manager Advait Chandan’s film 'Secret Superstar'. However, it seems the movie has run into trouble as the legendary music director A.R. Rahman won't be working anymore on the project.

As per the reports on SpotboyE, lyricist Prasoon Joshi and music director AR Rahman have decided not to work further for ''Secret Superstar''. Both are angry as they feel that their efforts are not being appreciated. A.R. Rahman and Prasoon have worked hard on a soundtrack for almost a year but both were left waiting for a go-ahead from the makers of the movie.

Furthermore, the two were upset that Aamir Khan wasn't showing any interest in the movie's progress. As per the source, ''Prasoon and Rahman sir had been doing their bit in terms of music sessions, but the film just wasn’t moving forward. No one wants to invest time but not see results, right? Aamir wanted to be thoroughly involved but Dangal hasn’t left him with time to do anything else. So, eventually, Rahman sir decided to quit. Ditto Prasoon.''

'Secret Superstar' was earlier titled ”Aaj Phir Jeene Ki Tamanna Hai”. The film is said to be a musical drama with Amit Trivedi composing the tracks.  The film, which starts rolling in June, will have its first schedule in Baroda before shifting to Mumbai.
