Television actress Ankita Lokhande, who became a household name with Zee TV's Pavitra Rishta, is on cloud nine. She is reportedly in talks with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for a role in his upcoming historical drama, Padmavati.

According to various reports, the pretty actress was spotted at Sanjay Leela Bhansali's office, where she had a long discussion with the National Award-winning filmmaker.

Reportedly, Deepika Padukone has been finalised to play the lead of Rani Padmavati, so what part Ankita might play is still a mystery though!
The film is said to be based on Chittor's legendary queen Padmavati who preferred to commit Jauhar rather than getting dishonoured at the hands of Alauddin Khilji.
Recently the actress has decided to revamp her career post her break-up with long-term boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput and seems that it worked in her favour!
