The whole team of Sarbjit, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Randeep Hooda, Richa Chadha, Darshan Kumar with Director Omung Kumar attended the prayer meet of Sarabjit Singh's 3rd Death Anniversary with his family members.

The on-screen Sarabjit Randeep and Aishwarya who plays his on-screen sister Dalbir Kaur were seen in tears remembering the farmer who was killed on 2nd May 2013 in the Pakistan prison. Sarabjit spent 22 years in jail after he was captured in 1990 while crossing the border and given the death sentence.

At Sarabjit's prayer meet, Aishwarya and Dalbir Kaur were seen in some light and some emotional moments while the director presented family a painting of Sarabjit's that he made himself with Sarabjit's letters in it.

Not only Richa, but Aishwarya and Randeep were also seen in tears during this meet.



While sharing her thoughts on Sarabjit, Richa Chadha who plays his wife on-screen chokes badly and could not utter a word for a few seconds.

Randeep, who underwent complete transformation for this film also shared his experience with everyone. He said ""I had to tell myself that I had not gone to jail for 23 years. There was a hangover after the movie."
