In a major jolt to the Bollywood industry, actress Sridevi passed away on Saturday night. The 54-year-old actress died of cardiac arrest in Dubai, according to Filmfare.


The actress was in UAE along with her husband Boney Kapoor and her younger daughter Khushi to attend a family wedding.

The news of the demise of Bollywood actress Sridevi has left not only the entertainment fraternity but also her fans and followers  in a deep state of shock.

Top Bollywood actors including Priyanka Chopra, Akshay Kumar, Sushmita Sen, Shilpa Shinde and many more took to twitter to express grief over the loss.

On a related note, Sridevi was last seen in Bollywood movie 'Mom' in 2017. Her daughter Janhvi is set to make her Bollywood debut this year with Karan Johar's directorial Dhadak.
