Wearing the Indian cricket jersey and striking a pose at the crease, batsman Virat with his signature beard-look has been going viral with it's wax statue being loved by fans but another picture with the 'cut off' ear also surfaced a few hours ago and the official confirms the same.
Virat's ear with a piece from top missing gives a bad feeling though but the official at the stadium tells that the damage has been fixed already.
There was a huge rush of fans on Day 1 which led to the damage to the right ear of Virat's wax figure and clipped off. The official quickly removed the statue and sent it to the workshop - reported Statesman.
"Yes, it was damaged. But now the statue has been rectified. Kohli's statue ear was damaged...We have fixed it immediately and fans are most welcome to visit the museum to take the photos with the India captain's statue" -Official was quoted saying by a leading news website.

Kohli's figure that was unveiled two days on June 6th, was crafted from over 200 measurements and photographs taken during the sitting session.
"This experience is going to be stored in the fond memories of my life...now waiting to see the fan reactions," Kohli said in a statement issued by Madame Tussauds.
