Music composer and singer Wajid Khan, of Sajid-Wajid duo breathed his last in the early hours of Monday after suffering from cardiac arrest following corona virus complications. The 42-year-old also had kidney ailments. Soon after the sad news of Wajid Khan's death surfaced, several Bollywood celebrities condoled the demise of music composer.

Meanwhile, the Khan family is preparing for his funeral, Wajid's last rites will be performed at the Versova Kabrastan in Mumbai, in the presence of a few loved ones, including his brother Sajid Khan and Bollywood actor Aditya Pancholi.

Sajid Khan who arrived for Wajid Khan's funeral a while ago was all teary eyed and was consoled by friends.

Wajid Khan was admitted to Surana Hospital in Chembur, Mumbai a couple of days ago where his condition deteriorated and he died in the wee hours of June 1.
