New Delhi: The Coronavirus pandemic has changed the functioning of many countries across the world including India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended the nationwide lockdown till May 3 to combat the further spread of COVID-19. People are observing social distancing and keeping themselves locked inside their homes as a precautionary measure.


Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal took to Twitter to squash all the rumours that suggested that he flouted the social distancing norms amid the Coronavirus lockdown. The ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ actor also said that he has not stepped out of his home since the lockdown started.

Vicky refuted the rumours of him getting pulled up by the cops for defying the lockdown restrictions. The actor requested his fans to not pay attention to the baseless rumours.

“There are baseless rumours suggesting that I broke the lockdown and got pulled up by the cops. I've not stepped out of my house since the lockdown started. I request people not to heed the rumours @MumbaiPolice,” Kaushal wrote on the micro-blogging site.


Like every Bollywood celeb, Vicky is also spending the quarantine period by doing household chores and indulging in some kind of activity.



On the professional front, Vicky Kaushal was last seen in 'Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship'. He has several exciting projects in his kitty including 'Sardar Udham Singh' and 'Takht'. 'Sardar Udham Singh', directed by Shoojit Sircar, is slated to release in January 2021.

Vicky will also be seen playing Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw in the film directed by Meghna Gulzar, which is also slated to hit the silver screens next year.
