New Delhi: Several Bollywood celebrities including Salman Khan, Kangana Ranaut, Shraddha Kapoor, Kriti Sanon extended support to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's new awareness campaign #Unite2FightCorona to promote Covid-19 appropriate behaviour among the citizens ahead of the upcoming festive season. The tinsel town celebs urged their fans and followers to follow social distancing protocols to keep the virus at bay.

Salman Khan requested his fans to implement PM Narendra Modi's Jan Andolan against COVID-19. He advised them to wear masks, sanitise their hands and maintance a distance of six feet to stop the spread of Coronavirus.

"Bhaiyo, beheno aur mitron In difficult times mein, only do three things: 6ft ka distance, mask peheno & wash & sanitise ur hands.  Let's implement PM Modi's  - Jan andolan against covid  Come on buck up india! Jai hind!!," the 'Bigg Boss 14' host tweeted.



Kangana Ranaut urged her followers to pledge to support PM Modi's campaign #Unite2FightCorona. The 'Panga' actress wrote, ''The worldwide crisis of Corona may have many setbacks but it has the possibility of bringing us together like never before, let’s pledge to #Unite2FightCorona @narendramodi @PrakashJavdekar thanks for this initiative #Unite2FightCorona.''



"Do gaj ki doori, mask hai zaroori," Shraddha Kapoor tweeted.



Kriti Sanon, who will be next seen in 'Mimi', asked everyone to wash their hands frequently and maintain social distancing. "We need to fight this together! I support our PM’s Jan Andolan against Covid! Do gaj ki doori, Mask hai zaroori! Please wash your hands frequently and maintain social distancing," she wrote on the micro-blogging site.

PM Narendra Modi on Thursday (October 8) said that India's fight against COVID-19 is people driven. He emphasized on the importance of wearing masks, washing hands at regular intervals and maintaining social distancing.  On a related note, the number of Coronavirus cases in India went past the 68-lakh mark on October 8.
