New Delhi: 'Game of Thrones' fans, Rejoice! The first trailer of Season seven is here and it seems like the 'great war' is upon us.

The show's official Twitter handle recently released the trailer of the much awaited season of 'GOT' and it shows all the main players getting ready for the final battle.

The trailer opens with Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) scrutinising the map of now surrounded King's Landing.
"Enemies to the east, enemies to the west, enemies to the south, enemies to the north. Whatever stands in our way, we will defeat it," she said to her brother Jaime (Nikolai Coster Waldau).

Adding, "We are the last Lannister, the last ones who count."

Then we are introduced to Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage), now 'Hand of the Queen' watching in awe as Danaerys dragons flying high in the sky.

In the next scene, Cersei's rival for the throne Danaerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) popularly known as Khaleesi is seen arriving at the Dragonstone.

"I was born to rule the seven kingdoms and I will," she says, while touching the ground.

As the trailer moves on, we get to see Jon Snow (Kit Harrington), standing up to the chants of 'King in the North!'

In another brief scene, Snow can be seen confronting Petyr 'Littlefinger' Baelish (Aidan Gillen) and slamming him against a wall.

Arya Stark (Maisie Williams), who was last seen assassinating Walder Frey, can be seen alone in a frozen wilderness trying to build a fire.

The footage closes with thousands of Dothraki soldiers charging towards battle, as Khaleesi's dragon Drogon is ready to provide the air support.

The trailer is intriguing and intense. The show is bigger and grander than the last season. The dragons Drogon, Viserion and Rhaegal are bigger and meaner.

Season seven of 'Game of Thrones' premieres on HBO on July 16.
