New Delhi: The crime-drama film ‘The Big Bull’ tells the story of the stockbroker Harshad Mehta, who was involved in big financial crimes. The role of the protagonist has been portrayed by Abhishek Bachchan and it has been directed and co-written by Kookie Gulati.


As soon as ‘The Big Bull’ released on the OTT platform Disney+Hotstar, people started comparing it to Hansal Mehta’s superhit web-series ‘Scam 1992’, where Pratik Gandhi portrayed the role of Harshad Mehta.

Other than Abhishek Bachchan, ‘The Big Bull’ also starred Nikita Dutta, Ileana D'Cruz, Sohum Shah, Ram Kapoor and Saurabh Shukla in pivotal roles. This movie has been produced by Ajay Devgn, Anand Pandit, Vikrant Sharma and Kumar Mangat Pathak. It traces the financial crimes of Harshad Mehta over the period of 10 years, from 1980 to 1990.


‘The Big Bull’ could not be released theatrically because of the current COVID-19 pandemic.


Meanwhile, speaking about his upcoming projects, Abhishek Bachchan will also be seen in ‘Dasvi’ alongside Yami Gautam. He will also be seen illustrating the role of Bob Biswas in the upcoming crime thriller film ‘Bob Biswas’. This movie will also star Chitrangada Singh and Amar Upadhyay in titular roles.
