New Delhi: ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’, featuring Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor in the lead roles, sees a downturn at the box office. The debut filmmakers Aradhana Sah and Amit Joshi are the writers and directors of the romance flick. In just four days after its premiere, the movie has made over Rs 30 crore in India, according to Sacnilk.com.

On the first day, the movie hauled in Rs 6.7 crore, on the second, Rs 9.65 crore, and on the third, Rs 10.75 crore. According to early estimates, 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya' likely grossed Rs 3.75 crore nett in India on its fourth day of release. In India, the movie earned 30.85 crore net so far.

The ABP Live review of the film read, " 'Sifra versus The Classic Indian Family' is one the of the major subplots in the movie. It is here that one sees a lot many half-baked characters and sketches, primarily for the sake of a few fake laughs.  Remove a few of them and there would hardly be any significant change in what the film is about or what it wants to convey.  It is here that the writing could perhaps have been a bit more crisp, especially as a lot of potential in the character played by senior actor Dharmendra, who essays the role of Aaryan's (Shahid) grandfather in the movie, probably goes untapped."

Shahid Kapoor plays a robotic scientist in the movie who eventually falls in love and marries Kriti Sanon's character, Sifra, a highly intelligent female robot. Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia are also featured in the movie. Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande, and Laxman Utekar are the producers of Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. The film released in theatres on February 9.
