Mumbai: Tara Sutaria and Ahaan Shetty starrer ‘Tadap’ has got a new release date. The romantic action drama, which was earlier scheduled to hit the silver screens on September 24, will now arrive in December 2021. The makers of the film announced the new release date of ‘Tadap’ on Tuesday (August 24). The Milan Lutharia directorial will entertain the audience in the theatres on December 3, 2021. It got delayed due to the second wave of COVID-19 in India. 


Tara took to social media to inform the fans about the release date of her upcoming film. “Tadap- An incredible Love Story in cinemas on December 3, 2021,” the ‘Student Of The Year 2’ actress wrote on Instagram. Check out her post!



Who Is Ahan Shetty?


Ahan is the son of Bollywood star Suniel Shetty and brother of Athiya Shetty. The star kid will make his acting debut with 'Tadap', which is the Hindi remake of Telugu film 'RX 100'. Ahan will be seen romancing Sutaria, who made her Hindi cinema debut with Karan Johar's 'SOTY 2' in 2019. 


Kartikeya Gummakonda and Payal Rajput played the lead roles in 'RX 100', which emerged as a big success at the box office. 



'Tadap', which has been produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Fox Star Studios, also stars Sikander Kher, Sharat Saxena and Amit Sadh in key roles. The cast and crew wrapped up the shoot in March 2021. 


Ahaan had shared a post to announce the wrap up of his debut film on Instagram. He wrote, "It’s a wrap on my first film!! Going to hold on to these memories forever. Thank you to the whole team of TADAP and everyone who pushed me in ways I didn’t know I could."



Films Which Are Releasing In December 2021


Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer 'Laal Singh Chaddha' will hit the silver screens during Christmas 2021. The movie, which is the official adaptation of 'Forrest Grump', is one of the biggest releases of 2021. The comedy drama will clash with 'Pushpa' at the box office.


'Spider Man: No Way Home' will arrive in the cinema halls in India on December 17, 2021.
