New Delhi: Actress Kriti Kharbanda made her debut in the lead role in the 2009 film ‘Boni’ opposite Sumanth. She then went on to star in different South Indian films including ‘Belli’, ‘Tirupati Express’ and others. The ‘Taish’ actress gained prominence in Bollywood with the 2017 film ‘Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana’ where she portrayed the role of the leading lady opposite Rajkummar Rao.

The ‘Karwaan’ actress recently took to her Instagram and revealed with a selfie that she has been suffering from malaria. She further requested her fans to share funny memes with her to lighten up her mood. Kharbanda wrote, “'Hi! This is my malaria wala face. Say hi world:) it's just visiting, not here to stay coz I need to get back to work. To all those who are worried about me, I'm doing better today and hoping for an even better tomorrow :) I feel a little S****y from time to time, but that's okay. This year has taught me patience and self love:) will keep you guys updated! Thank u for your love.”

She concluded by saying, “P.S. please share memes. Funny ones. I am bored of resting. And bored of having nothing else to do.”

Kriti is currently dating ‘Fukrey’ actor Pulkit Samrat and the couple was seen sharing the screen together in movies like ‘Taish’, ‘Veerey Ki Wedding’ and ‘Pagalpanti’.

Opening up on their relationship, Pulkit told TOI, “She grounds me, she completes me, and she has brought a lot of khairat in my life. I hope I have done something good and that's why I have found her.”

On the professional front. Kriti was last seen in ‘Taish’ where she portrayed the role of Aarfa Khan. She was supposed to start shooting for her next project but the schedule had to be postponed owing to her health problems.
