New Delhi: Taapsee Pannu started her acting career with the 2010 Telugu film ‘Jhummandi Naadam’. She then stepped into Bollywood with David Dhawan’s comedy film ‘Chashme Baddoor’ which released in the year 2013. The actress made a name for herself and gained recognition when she starred in the movie ‘Pink’ alongside Amitabh Bachchan. She then went on to star in several other movies including ‘Badla’, ‘Naam Shabana’, ‘Mulk’ and others.


With a number of upcoming projects in her kitty, Taapsee, earlier today, took to her Instagram and announced the release date of one of her upcoming movies ‘Looop Lapeta’. The ‘Pink’ actress shared a small video announcing the release date and wrote, “A comic-thriller we rarely get! Brace yourself to meet Savi and Satya..... #LooopLapeta in theatres this October 22, 2021. ♾☺️ @tahirrajbhasin @bhatiaaakash @sonypicsfilmsin @ellipsisentertainment @vivekkrishnani @tanuj.Garg @atulkasbekar @aayush_blm #LooopLapeta”.

Starring Taapsee and Tahir Raj Bhasin in the lead roles, ‘Looop Lapeta’ is all set to hit the screens on October 22, 2021. This movie is the official remake of the 1998 German film ‘Run Lola Run’.


Yesterday, the actress also shared a post for director Sujoy Ghosh as their movie ‘Badla’ completed 2 years of its release. She shared a note which read, “Two years since I last spent hours with this mad man laughing on each other’s guts to attempt ‘Badla’ While I miss his weirdness it’s hard to make this lazy ass sit n write something we can create on screen again ! Only so we can get more such embarrassing pictures clicked :) P.S- he needs a new wardrobe so please give him some work dear producers 🙄”



Other than ‘Looop Lapeta’, Taapsee will also be seen starring in ‘Haseen Dillruba’ and ‘Rashmi Rocket’.
