Mumbai: Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen shared a heartfelt post for her younger daughter Alisah, who turned a year older on Saturday (August 28). The former Miss Universe penned a note for the birthday girl, calling Alisah ‘the love of her life’. The Bengali beauty said that she is proud of her daughter, who is celebrating her 12th birthday.

The ‘Main Hoon Ha’ actress posted an adorable video, which featured precious moments from Alisah and Sushmita’s life. The clip featured several throwback pictures of the 12-year-old, from her childhood to teenage days.
“Happpyyyyy 12th Birthday Alisah. To God’s most precious gift & the love of my life…Happpyyyy Birthday my Shona Maa!! Thank you for being born…you make this world a beautiful place…adding to each passing moment…more goodness, kindness & love!!! I am soooooo proud of you!!,” Sushmita wrote on Instagram.
Sen also congratulated her elder daughter Renee for celebrating twelve years as a big sister. "Congratulations @reneesen47 you are 12 years old as didi…what a magical journey. We love you Alisah, May God bless you with divine abundance…May you always be nurtured in love!!," she added.
Sushmita Sen adopted Renee and Alisah in 2000 and 2010 respectively. Her beau Rohman Shawl dropped a comment on the post. He wrote, "Happy Birthday my gabdush and my babush."
Sushmita Sen’s Upcoming Projects
Last year, Sushmita made her digital debut with ‘Aarya’, which premiered on Disney+Hotstar. The actress received rave reviews for her performance in the web series. The makers are currently busy shooting for the second season.
