As her tribute to Sushant Singh Rajput, who died in Mumbai on June 14, actress Bhumi Pednekar who was also the late actor's co-star in Sonchiriya movie has pledged to feed 550 poor families in India.


“I pledge to feed 550 impoverished families through the Ek Saath Foundation in the memory of my dear friend. Let’s show compassion and love towards everyone that is in need, now more than ever,” posted Pednekar on social media.


Sushant SinghRajput’s untimely death has sent shock waves among Bollywood stars and fans. The actor was found hanging at his home in Mumbai on June 14, 2020.

Earlier, Bollywood actor Nana Patekar on Sunday visited the Patna residence of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput and offered condolences to his family.

Sushant’s family had conducted the 13th-day ritual post his death on Saturday and Nana Patekar visited them a day after on Sunday. He was welcomed by the late actor’s family members and was seen greeting them with folded hands as he entered the house.

The Mumbai Police are currently investigating the Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case and have recorded the statements of at least 27 people, including his family members & rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty.
