Anushka Sharma, who worked with Sushant in Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘PK’, expressed grief over his sudden. The two played an on-screen couple in the film co-starring Aamir Khan. Although, Sushant played a supporting role in 'PK', his performance was appreciated by the fans and critics.

“Sushant, you were too young and brilliant to have gone so soon. I'm so sad and upset knowing that we lived in an environment that could not help you through any troubles you may have had. May your soul rest in peace,” the ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ actress tweeted.
"At this time of immense tragedy, I would request the media to be sensitive towards Sushant’s family and friends. I urge everyone to respect their emotions and let them grieve," Anushka further tweeted.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s friends were place at his residence when he took the drastic step. According to ABP News correspondent Ganesh Thakur, the actor’s friends broke the room’s door when he didn’t respond. His domestic help alerted the police.
On the professional front, Sushant was last seen in Netflix’s ‘Drive’ opposite Jacqueline Fernandez. ‘Dil Bechara’, which is yet to release, will be his last film.
