Siddharth Pithani is being under the CBI's scanner as he was the one who was present in Sushant Singh Rajput's home when the actor reportedly hung himself to death at his Mumbai residence on June 14. Since then, Pithani has emerged as one of the key suspects in the death case of 'Dil Bechara' actor.
As per the latest development, Pithani who is being grilled by the CBI for the sixth consecutive day, has confessed that eight hard drives were destroyed in Sushant Singh Rajput's home on June 8, the day Rhea Chakraborty reportedly left SSR's house.
An India Today report stated that after the incident, IT professionals were called in to erase files from the hard drives.
The shocking revelation has raised several question such as whether Sushant was aware of this destruction of the hard drives? And most importantly, what was there in those eight hard drives?

Meanwhile, sources tracking the CBI probe from close quarters revealed that Pithani is being questioned to put together the chain of events from June 13 that led to the June 14 outcome and also to find who all were present in the apartment at the time of the actor's death.
Last week, the CBI questioned Sushant Rajput's cook Neeraj for over 10 hours, besides Sushant's other staff Dipesh Swanat and his house manager Samuel Miranda were also probed extensively. Miranda was questioned for over five hours by the CBI.
