New Delhi: The Sushant Singh Rajput death case is coming up new details every now and then since the time his father filed an FIR at Patna Police Station against Rhea Chakraborty. KK Singh lodged the FIR against Rhea and five others under various sections of the IPC including abetment to suicide. Last month, the Centre approved the Bihar government’s request for transferring the case to CBI. The 'Jalebi' actress has been called by the ED for interrogation twice while her brother Showik has been summoned thrice till now.

The ED has now recorded the statement of the ‘Dil Bechara’ actor’s father K.K. Singh in connection to the money laundering case. Vikas Singh, who is the family lawyer of the late actor said to IANS, “Yes, the ED has recorded the statement of the late actor's father.”

The ‘Kai Po Che!’ actor’s sister Meetu Singh’s statement was also recorded by the ED. According to top ED officials, Sushant's father was questioned about the financial transactions from the bank account of his son. The ED also asked about the fixed deposits of the late actor and other aspects.

The ED has also recorded statements of several persons, including Sushant's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik, father Indrajit, Sushant's CA Sandeep Sridhar, Sushant's ex-manager and Rhea's manager Shruti Modi, Rhea's CA Ritesh Shah, Sushant's flatmate Siddharth Pithani, house manager Samuel Miranda and other personal staff of the late actor.

In his complaint to the Bihar Police on July 25, Singh had alleged that Rs 15 crore was withdrawn or transferred from his son's Kotak Mahindra Bank account, following which the ED registered a case under the PMLA against Rhea and her family members on July 31.
