Mumbai Police on Monday recorded the statement of filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali in connection with actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death. And the latest update in the on-going investigation is that cops have seized the CCTV recordings of the late actor’s building in Bandra where he hanged himself.

Police sources have confirmed that no CCTVs were installed in the ‘Kedarnath’ actor’s flat.

Additionally, there are still some forensic reports pending in the case, though their nature hasn't yet come to light.

Meanwhile on Monday, Sanjay Leela Bhansali informed the cops that he last met Rajput in 2016 during his interrogation at the Bandra police station.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali informed the cops that he met the late actor in the year 2016 and had almost cast him in Gooliyon Ki Rasleela Ramleela. However, due to date issues, they could not collaborate on the project.

Bhansali was posed with 30-35 questions by the police and the filmmaker revealed that he wasn't aware of Sushant's mental distress.

Mumbai Police has, over the past weeks, also recorded statements of Sushant's family, staff, a few of his friends, and rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, besides filmmaker Mukesh Chhabra and actress Sanjana Sanghi who worked with the late actor in his upcoming last film "Dil Bechara".

Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging in his Mumbai residence on June 14. The actor's postmortem report stated his death was a suicide.
