Bollywood star Suniel Shetty has filed a complaint against a production house for allegedly circulating a fake film poster featuring him, a report in PTI said. The ‘Dhadkan’ star field the complaint at Mumbai’s Versova police station on Wednesday (March 3). He accused the production company of using his picture without seeking permission. Shetty also alleged that the company lied about him playing the main lead in the film.
A police official told the news agency that Suniel Shetty alleged that the producers shared a fake poster of a film with which the actor is not associated. The police officials are yet to register an FIR in the matter.

In his complaint, the ‘Rakshak’ actor said that the production company asked money from people in his name. He came to know about the fake film poster after it circulated on social media.
The 59-year-old actor, who was last seen in Rajinikanth starrer ‘Darbar’, expressed his displeasure over the production company’s act on Twitter. He slammed the company for ‘exploiting young vulnerable talent’.
“More than using my picture and financial exploitation it is about exploiting young vulnerable talent,” Shetty tweeted.
The police officials are currently busy investigating the matter. They haven’t called anyone for recording statements, the report in the news agency said.
On the professional front, Suniel Shetty will be next seen in ‘Mumbai Saga’. The action drama co-starring John Abraham, Emraan Hashami and Kajal Aggarwal will hit the silver screens on March 19, 2021. The trailer of the much-awaited flick has received a good response from the audience. The Sanjay Gupta directorial is set in the 80s and 90s.
