Shah Rukh Khan became the first Indian actor to speak at TED2017 in Vancouver on April 28th and the video is just released online. Superstar Khan got the standing ovation at the end and his witty yet simple speech which by the way also had a little lungi dance in it too was mesmerizing in all.

At the very beginning of his awesome lecture, SRK receives first round of applause with a witty line while introducing himself to the gathering going “I’ve also been made to understand that there are lots of you who haven’t seen my work,” opens SRK, “and I feel very sad for you.”

And then he went on to draw an interesting parallel between humanity and himself, saying that he has found both going through the same evolution over the years.

He also talks about how he became the anchor of the family narrating the story of his father's death.

"I put my father's body in the car and started driving. After a while, my mother, who was sitting next to me, asked me 'when did you learn to drive?' And I said, 'Just now'."

Shah Rukh then spoke about the impact the Internet has made on his life, specifically his decision in his late 40s to begin using Twitter. “Everything I said took a new meaning. Everything I did, good, bad, ugly, was there for the world to comment upon and judge.”

While talking about entering the virtual world the star speaks about how the Internet impacted his life, when in his late 40s then, he began to use Twitter. He goes on to mention how Abram's birth made many make stupidest speculations relating his third child to his first one, Aryan Khan.

Shah Rukh said looking very hurt, “Four years ago, my lovely wife Gauri and me decided to have a third child. It was claimed on the net that he was the love child of our first child who was 15 years old. Apparently, he had sown his wild oats with a girl while driving her car in Romania. And yeah, there was a fake video to go with it. And we were so disturbed as a family. My son, who is 19 now, even now when you say “hello” to him, he just turns around and says, “But bro, I didn’t even have a European driving license.”

SRK also confessed that he was unaware of the chat lingo or acronyms  used on the Web like ROFL & LOL. When a fan wrote back to him "ADIDAS", he was enlightened by his daughter Suhana Khan about it and she explained it to be meaning "All Day I Dream About Sex". He says "I then replied with WTF in bold to the Mr. Adidas".

“I sell dreams, and I peddle love to millions of people".. to.. "My face is beginning to look like my Madam Tussaud's wax statue. I often ask myself whether I should change my face".. in his usual smart, funny & charming way kept the audience engrossed.

While talking about his life and the lessons, he said i am shameless and also clarifies, "My friends Chris (TED curator) and Juliet called me here to speak about the future you, and naturally I’m going to speak about the present me.”

In the 17-minute talk, from the 'failure' of his superhero film Ra.One, following it up with a quick 'lungi dance'.. the star's full video will make you feel proud of him.

He had a serious advice too. “I have realised that whatever moves you, whatever urges you to create, to build, whatever keeps you from failing, whatever helps you survive, is perhaps the oldest, and simplest emotion known to mankind, and that is love”.

SRK also recites a doha by Kabir and translated it too for the ones present. "Pothi Padh Padh Kar Jag Mua, Pandit Bhayo Na Koye Dhai Aakhar Prem Ke, Jo Padhe so Pandit Hoye."

Finally, the 'Badshah' finishes off and gets a standing ovation.
