In a bid of final farewell to Bollywood icon Sridevi, fans and family members are all set to pay their last respect to the late actor today.

The mortal remains of Bollywood's legendary actress Sridevi, whose sudden death shocked the entire film industry and her fans, was flown back to Mumbai on Tuesday night.



According to latest reports, the family has confirmed that Sridevi’s body will be kept at Celebration Sports Club in Lokhandwala for common people and fans to pay their last respects from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.before it is taken for cremation.

The family also said that media can also pay their respects “provided camera, recording devices, etc are left outside the venue”.

The last journey of Sridevi will commence at 2 pm from Celebration Sports Club to Vile Parle Seva Samaj Crematorium and Hindu Cemetery. Sridevi’s cremation is expected to take place at around 3.30 p.m.

Meanwhile, the ambulance, escorted by three police vehicles, brought Sridevi's body home from the Mumbai airport soon after it arrived from Dubai at around 10:30 PM last night.

On a related note, 54-year-old Sridevi, who was in Dubai to attend a family wedding, was found unconscious in a bathtub in her hotel apartment by her filmmaker husband Boney Kapoor on Saturday evening.

Dubai officials probing the death handed over the body to her family on Tuesday after completing the formalities.
