The young girl seen as the younger 'Poo' (Kareena Kapoor Khan) in 2001 hit Bollywood film 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' was last seen as a main female lead in Telugu film 'Jayadev' in 2017. She is all set now to debut as lead heroine in a hindi film and veteran actor Danny Denzongpa's son Rinzing Denzongpa will feature as main lead opposite her, making his Bollywood debut too.


Malvika, who's the niece of 80s lead heroine Anita Raj, plays a fierce sniper named 'Aria' in the action thriller titled 'Squad' and which goes on the floors in April.

In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, opening up about her role 'Aria', Malvika said- "She’s very knowledgeable about weapons which is important to the storyline. There’s a lot of action and a little bit of romance with Rinzing".

Both Malvika and Rinzing seem excited about their debut project in Bollywood and they have both shared posts on Instagram sharing the news with their followers.

Malvika also reveals that she and Rinzing studied in the same school and thus the two are comfortable with each other. “We were in the same school and grew up in the same social circle. When we were young, we even attended each other’s birthday parties so now sharing the screen with him is going to be a lot of fun".

Sharing how her Aunt Anita Raj reacted to her Bollywood debut, Malvika reveals that Anita's son Shiva and Rinzing are good friends. "She knows Rinzing better than I do as he shares a great bond with her son. My aunt has always been very supportive and it will be interesting for her to see both Rinzing and me in the same film".

The fitness enthusiast Rinzing is also the BFF of Tiger Shroff, Sooraj Pancholi and other Bollywood young actors.
